For a third DWI offense, the penalties can include a fine of up to $10,000, two to ten years in prison, a license suspension of up to two years, and the requirement to install an ignition interlock device.
Avoiding a DWI Arrest – The best way to avoid a DWI arrest is to not drink and drive. If you do plan to drink, it’s important to have a designated driver or to use a ride-sharing service such as Uber or Lyft.
